“Viksit Bharat ke Rang, Kala ke Sang” connects young minds, art legends & tradition in a powerful movement of creativity and service.


On 29th September 2025, the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, brought together students, artists, and cultural experts in Jaipur, Guwahati, and Maheshwar through special art workshops under Sewa Parv 2025. The theme, "Viksit Bharat ke Rang, Kala ke Sang", inspired a celebration of creativity, heritage, and community service-marking another step towards a developed India by 2047.


What is Sewa Parv 2025?


Sewa Parv 2025 is a nationwide cultural festival being held from 17th September to 2nd October, celebrating sewa (selfless service), creativity, and India’s rich cultural pride.

It is part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) by 2047, and it brings together:

  • Schools & institutions

  • Artists & performers

  • Citizens of all ages

The movement is not just about art-it’s about using creativity as a tool for nation-building.

What Happened on 29th September?


On this day, special art workshops and cleanliness drives were held at key cultural hubs:

Guwahati (Assam)


  • NEZCC Shilpgram & Betkuchi School

  • 1200+perticipate

  • Eminent artists, folk culture, youth engagement

Jaipur (Rajasthan)


  • Jawahar Kala Kendra

  • 500+participate

  • Institutional art workshop, speeches by art leaders

Maheshwar (M.P.)


  • Devi Ahilya Bal Jyoti School

  • High local turnout

  • Traditional weaving, theatre, modern creativity

Event Highlights


  • Guwahati, Assam – NEZCC Shilpgram & Betkuchi School

  • Organised by NEZCC in collaboration with IGNCA & CCRT

  • Over 1200 young artists and students painted their visions of a developed India

Guests included:


  • Shri Noni Borpujari – Eminent Assamese visual artist

  • Shri Ramkrishna Talukdar – Sattriya guru and Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee

  • Shri Atul Ch. Barua, Shri Swapnanil Barua, and others

Students connected Assam’s rich cultural history with modern themes of nation-building

A parallel workshop at Betkuchi High School allowed rural students to express their dreams through color

Jaipur, Rajasthan – Jawahar Kala Kendra


Organised by CCRT Regional Centre

  • More than 500 students and youth artists took part in creative workshops

  • Smt. Alka Meena, Additional Director General, motivated students to use art to serve the nation

  • The iconic venue itself became a hub of color, energy, and national pride

Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh – Devi Ahilya Bal Jyoti School


Organised by SCZCC

The art workshop blended local craft, theatre, and fine arts

Special guests included:


  • Padma Shri Bhalu Mondhe – Renowned photographer & environmentalist

  • Shri Sharad Shabal – Veteran theatre personality

  • Shri Amrit Bichve – Senior handloom weaver

Students were inspired to honor traditions while embracing modern creativity
