One of the major highlights of the visit was PM Modi's trip to Sendai in Miyagi Prefecture, accompanied by his Japanese counterpart, Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba. The two leaders visited Tokyo Electron Miyagi Ltd (TEL Miyagi), a major player in the semiconductor industry.
This visit was not just a formality; it was a powerful statement about the shared vision of both countries to build robust and resilient semiconductor supply chains.
