This commitment emerged from a crucial bilateral meeting held on July 23, 2025, in New Delhi, between India's Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh and Major General (Res) Amir Baram, the Director General of the Israel Ministry of Defence.

In return, Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh reiterated India's steadfast zero-tolerance approach to terrorism, vehemently condemning the horrific October 07, 2023, terrorist attacks in Israel and calling for the immediate release of all hostages. The discussions also served as an opportunity to review the progress of ongoing defence collaboration activities. Both delegations assessed the advancements made since their last Joint Working Group meeting, which was held in India in July 2024.
